The intellectual universe expands due to new knowledge, new behavioral norms along with a more precise understanding about the natural world. At different times some areas expand more rapidly than others. The increased use of knowledge within cultural movements often leads to an accelerated expansion. However, some cultural movements may slow or even reverse the expansion process in a direct violation of the life purpose.
